So, we might be starting some sort of donation pool thing to get more Mushroom Go: Gnarly to happen. I don't know the exact science behind donating money to Cammiluna but I think she has a thing on her site for the purpose of delivering currency

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is pretty good.

For a moment, I thought Fungus' blood stain was his mouth. Good comic yet again.

That was really my biggest worry was that the blood might look like a mouth or another dot on the mask or... something
Ghotiheads 13th May 2013, 3:06 PM edit delete reply
It looks most like a nose bleed in the last panel. Then again he's wearing a mask and I never seen what a nosebleed under a skintight mask looks like....

I didnt see it as an anime mouth until i read the comment, and i blame the black outline for this.

I think it's the shadow at the top of the blood that most makes it look like a facial figure. The colour separation from the other dots works for it though.

At first I was a little confused, but it all made sense after the second look.

Dark Moon is indeed pretty good. They included a lot of the little details that made the first game so memorable while still managing to keep things fresh.

My blood is acidic and has dissolved multiple pebbels that have gotten to far stuck in my skin to be removed

Yay! Updated as you planned! It's always nice to see this comic update, especially now. As for Dark Moon, I'm in agreement on it. Too bad my copy of the original broke.

McCoy, you're so smooth!

And yes, you can either use Morg's button and he'll forward the funds to me, or you can use mine either on the hiex site or Cammiluna.tk and I'll forward him the recipts.

Currently, I am not playing Dark Moon because friends have given me Kid Icarus Uprising and HarmoKnight recently and I am enjoying them.

So, I think I missed an update...
Morg is continuing MuGo, and Cammi is doing a spinoff? Or is MuGo just back to the old erratic update schedule?
Morgenstern 14th May 2013, 3:37 AM edit delete reply
Morgenstern
I'm doing MuGo every Monday or so. Cammi has previously worked on a spinoff, and I'd like to get together some money to make the idea of her finishing said spinoff a little more realistic.

Especially since said spinoff may or may not be legitimately important to the plot later

I never thought about this before, but Mayor Maynot sounds like an indecisive mayor's name. Mayor of Whateverville

I found this comic about a week or two before the art switched over to Ob.

Really, Cam? I thought you had been around longer than that. Huh.

I was going to call you Cammi, but then I realized that calling you Cam reminded me of one of my favorite book series when I was younger, Cam Jensen. Do you have a photographic memory?

Nope! I have short-term memory and an even shorter attention span! Wheeeee!

BlueMario 16th May 2013, 3:04 PM edit delete reply
I showed up really early on thanks to friend of mine introducing me (ironically, he stopped reading; I didn't), somewhere in the beginning arc of still introducing everyone.
I stopped, though. I didn't get back until, hmmm, Late-Thrive or Early-Twister's, I'm not certain.

I actually came in at page 122, and stuck around quite well even with the lack of updates. Goes to show just how good this comic is. Recently found the comic through a friend who doesn't comment here. You guys are so funny, and I enjoy popping on here for updates to the comments section from time to time.

The trouble with back reading and my terrible memory is that I now have no idea when I started reading.
It doesn't matter though, MuGo is one of the webcomics that got me into the medium and has remained in my favourites ever since.

Discovered this comic before the pirana plant lab arc(not sure when exactly). I was in the middle of the comparison war between Mario and some more conventional superhero(like Cap Am).

Hey Morgenstern... I'd like to show you some art I'm making in a few days. The reason is because I'm interested in becoming an artist for this wondrous webcomic, but I know you'll want to see something before you can even consider... so I'll be drawing up a bunch of the mushroom go characters, as well as a few action scenes to show how well I can create characters in fights.

I know the situation of artists that do come into the webcomic. So if you can't consider me as an option, or simply don't want to, that's fine. I'd like to discuss with you after I've posted some pictures (which i don't know how to do). I'll post them this weekend sometime after I work things out in school...

Mind if I study the body composition of the people in the comic to inspire myself? I really suck at drawing people shapes and want to have some way to remember how to do it right. Mushroom Go is memorable, you draw people well, I think it all works well, right?

Just occured to me that I'm a full year new here. Perhaps I am technically a long time commenter, huh? Just... not in Mushroom Go time, where it's been the same say for quite a while now.

(just so that doesn't get taken the wrong way... I meant that with a chuckle, no hostility towards Mr. Morg intended.)

I can't screenshot now, but there is $30 in the FUND CAMMI TO MAKE GNARLY PAGES donation pool, thanks to Amaare!

If I get another $20, I'll pester Morg to plan out the next page for me. I actually need $40 to purchase a new york comic con ticket, which is going to sell out really fast this year so if I get that, there will be two pages.

Why is it that neither your nor morgenstern's profile pages link to gnarly? There was a rather long stretch (prior to this page coming out) where I thought it had been a figment of my imagination, since I couldn't re-find it!
Tobias7 18th May 2013, 1:50 PM edit delete reply
Probably because it was a secret project that Morg had to reveal to us :P They should add the links now that it's not secret though.
Cammiluna 18th May 2013, 8:58 PM edit delete reply

Originally the comic was to be found through a series of secret clues lying around the site, and is canonly wedged after this chapter, so it will maybe have an official unveiling after this chapter ends.

Another $5 is in the pot. I don't want to reveal the legal name of the contributor, but thank you very much!

I feel really bad that I'm not doing this for free, but most of my monthly income is from commissions and I will need to put a hold drawing them to make time for full color comic pages.
