O snap.

Glad for the update. Though I have to say I had to re-read the last few to remember where they were in the conversation.

Must not be the BeanBean Kingdom, or she would've known right off the bat
Amaare 27th Aug 2012, 7:54 PM edit delete reply
Yeah, I don't see that happening...
Cammiluna 27th Aug 2012, 9:42 PM edit delete reply
Those are painful measures for arresting someone. Did he learn his police skills in New York City?

Mr. Vareel
I have a feeling that the Chainless' trump card has yet to be played. If not, than shit will happen in a way neither party saw coming. Maybe that (which may have been a) silhouette we saw on page 102 will show up and kick some ass or something.
the_unchosen_one 28th Aug 2012, 2:51 AM edit delete reply
The power star power the ship is going to explode in giant fire ball and go into a tail spin and crash into a mountain (in the middle of the desert, mind) and everyone's gonna die!!!
The end :D

Except for Guy... you know why?
Cause he had his tray table up!
And his seat back in the full upright position!

As for myself, I feel that the Chainless does not have a trump card. At least at the moment. My vote goes in for the antagonists winning, at least for now. It's too much for the Chainless right now, with the party split, especially. But hey, that's just me. Who knows what Morgy has planned?

Also why the hell haven't I registered an account here yet D:
Lukkai 28th Aug 2012, 7:49 AM edit delete reply
Something like of them being overwhelmed now but later being able to earn their pardon? (Well, a pardon for Martello mostly, so it would seem.) That more or less along the lines of what you were thinking?
That's kinda what went through my head as a possibility here.
CyberSkull 28th Aug 2012, 3:35 AM edit delete reply
How many governments has the Chainless simultaniously pissed off anyways?
Starcat5 28th Aug 2012, 3:44 AM edit delete reply
Um, why is her right eye red? She was smacked on the LEFT side of her face. I was sure we have seen her eyes before, so I am RELATIVELY certain that it isn't a preexisting condition.

I'm confused.
Morgenstern 28th Aug 2012, 3:50 AM edit delete reply
She took a few hits in the in between (hence the bloodied mouth, as well). You can see her keeping the right eye shut on the last page.
the_unchosen_one 28th Aug 2012, 12:51 PM edit delete reply
Check page 128. Its the hit in the last panel that we dont see that does it
theo 28th Aug 2012, 5:23 PM edit delete reply
Obviously when she gets mad her eyes change color and she goes on a destructive rampage.
Cammiluna 29th Aug 2012, 12:43 AM edit delete reply
Hence why she has an extensive criminal history?
the_unchosen_one 29th Aug 2012, 3:16 PM edit delete reply
Is Sasha secretly the Hulk?
theo 30th Aug 2012, 12:26 PM edit delete reply
Obviously, couldn't you tell?
A Gray Phantom 29th Aug 2012, 6:08 PM edit delete reply
It also looks like, in panel 128, that when she's hit from her left, that her face collides with her own hammer. Ouch!
Guybrush20X6 28th Aug 2012, 4:55 AM edit delete reply
Nothing like a Templar cop to complicated a comic about bandits.

Geez, Fabes is serious about his line of work, huh. Makes me wonder what they did to him, if he's willing to go through all the effort of enlisting one of the few governments that hadn't been paid off. The fact that he made the arrangements, and he wasn't sent by the government, means he's gotta be really pissed at them. Wonder why...?
*blaZe* 28th Aug 2012, 9:59 AM edit delete reply
Martello's probably got a plan. If not, Morgenstern's gonna hafta write a trial arc, and that'd be boring as hell to write. (I'd like it, but I'm not that important)

and on a side note, I can't tell if I hate fabes or not, he's both awesome and annoying.
*blaZe* 28th Aug 2012, 10:05 AM edit delete reply
I want something to explode and save them all from their allailants.
I want something to NOT explode because the fights are awesome.
why must you have so much going on at once?

A nit picky detail, but the upper end of that hammer is going through her arm >_<

easy fix to make it go in front of her bracelet on her right arm.

Yay! Comic!
Every action has a consequence, even if the action was a mistake/accident
FuzzyZergling 28th Aug 2012, 2:48 PM edit delete reply
I have a feeling that the Chainless is going to pull through.
Remember, we still have Guy! Guy is obviously the most important character.
Scootaloo 5th Sep 2012, 12:23 AM edit delete reply
Mushroom Guy...

I'm okay with this idea.
Morgenstern 5th Sep 2012, 5:39 AM edit delete reply
Shyguy Guy does have a certain ring to it

though if you say it too fast it sounds like a laugh that Popeye would do
Amaare 5th Sep 2012, 8:44 PM edit delete reply
I'm strong to the finish 'cos I eats me mega mushrooms, I'm Guy the Shyguy-guy-guy!
1412 28th Aug 2012, 2:53 PM edit delete reply
Of course they didn't pay off the beanbean kingdom. What's the exchange rate now? 99 beanbean coins for about 9999999999 mushroom coins or something ridiculous like that? There's no way they could afford it.
Cammiluna 30th Aug 2012, 5:28 PM edit delete reply
I love Beanbean's obnoxious currency exchange rates!

XD thanks guys. Well, I decided to start taking Hapkido, a Korean martial arts form, and slid my knee cap to the side and then back into place. As a result I can't walk for the next two days. You'd think this would be the result of sparring or something, right? Nope! The real cause is I slipped on the hem of my pants.
thegreatandmightyone 31st Aug 2012, 1:30 PM edit delete reply
I DO THAT TOO!!! Except that I catch my big toe in the hem of my pants as I'm walking down the stairs. It's rather painful. I'm glad I'm not the only one!! T^T

Don't feel too bad, I once tore a muscle in my leg getting out of bed too fast.
thegreatandmightyone 2nd Sep 2012, 2:30 PM edit delete reply
I'm not sure whether to congratulate you on your achievement or feel horrible that you tore a muscle.
Amaare 2nd Sep 2012, 3:37 PM edit delete reply
Lol, don't feel bad for me for that, I've had plenty worse and survived!
It was impressive in a bizzare way, though I should mention that my bed is about 4 feet high.
thegreatandmightyone 3rd Sep 2012, 12:18 PM edit delete reply
Okay I can see how you tore a muscle from getting out of bed now, but it's still pretty impressive.

Martello's sure seeing red at the moment. Huehuehuehuehuehuehuehue- *is shot*

Once again, great comic. You've continuously had me on the edge of my seat since the start of this fight.

I know that Sasha's eye condition has been implied, like the whole time, but was it ever shown in any previous comic?

EDIT: Never mind. I just read some of the comments above. XD
Morgenstern 5th Sep 2012, 5:43 AM edit delete reply
New comic will probably be up in the next few days. It's been a busy week
Tobias 5th Sep 2012, 10:01 PM edit delete reply
I look forward to it! Take your time though, your fans understand you have a life and we'd rather have your wonderful comic that occurs every week or two then a crappy ordinary comic.
