Nice work on your backgrounds, Morg! Much more interesting.
Bonz0 22nd Feb 2012, 2:44 AM edit delete reply
Nice, a BiS reference.
Anarius 22nd Feb 2012, 11:03 AM edit delete reply
What, pray tell, is BiS?
Whistle-Tall 22nd Feb 2012, 11:29 AM edit delete reply
Bowser's inside Story, perhaps?
Bonz0 22nd Feb 2012, 3:07 PM edit delete reply
Whistle is correct. The Super Bouncer is from BIS.

He sells badges AND Shroom Shakes?!

The art on this is super fancy. I love it!

I spy with my average sized eye:
HP plus Badge
Happy Heart (I think that's what it was called) Badge
...Other Heart Badge (I don't recognize it)
Snowman (minus bucket and scarf)
Shroom Shakes
Maple Syrup
and a bros. item which is named in the pic
FuzzyZergling 22nd Feb 2012, 9:00 PM edit delete reply
I think the round badge is the one that makes more hearts than usual appeat after a battle.

Wow, just wow. Especially the second panel, it has such feeling and emotion in it. Actually they all do, but the second panel just calls to me :) You are truly amazing at what you do, and an inspiration to all of us dreamers.
MeowMixIsorCats339 22nd Feb 2012, 3:00 PM edit delete reply
Typo. Do you mean grew up instead of drew up?
the_unchosen_one 23rd Feb 2012, 10:32 PM edit delete reply
I believe he was referring to blueprints and such. Remove "and worked on" and you get "Blair drew up karts." Makes sense. Means she made plans, and then worked on it
MeowMixIsorCats339 24th Feb 2012, 1:09 PM edit delete reply
Well in the context I was reading it in I though that it meant she got older and she started working on karts. Simple misunderstanding.
model S 22nd Feb 2012, 3:36 PM edit delete reply

@meow: drew up kart designs and worked on them, there's no typo.

@tall: that's a badge from 1000 year door, i think, i don't remember the name either. and that snowman is from M64.

The more that's revealed the more I want to try to figure out how this, the library thing, and that ropeish.... headless... monster thing, all fit together.
NotJoe 22nd Feb 2012, 10:26 PM edit delete reply
The ropeish headless monster thing was Boss Birdo's head.
Silverpraetorian 23rd Feb 2012, 8:21 AM edit delete reply
Hmmm yeah I suppose it was... based on the speech around it though I figured there was more to it.... there's still the library though.
Stegosaurus 22nd Feb 2012, 4:29 PM edit delete reply
I guess I got legend of zelda on my mind, because i thought the items were (from left to right):
1. Triforce pillow-thing
2. The Heart Medallion from Skyward Sword
3. A weird version of Majora's Mask
OneOfTheNamelessRabble 25th Feb 2012, 7:00 AM edit delete reply
Okay, when you close your eyelids, are you on a large floating island or a wide open field? Next, if you were to wield a sword then which hand are you using? (This should explain how far he is rooted in the series.)
Stegosaurus 25th Feb 2012, 11:12 AM edit delete reply
The wide open field and in my left hand (I'm left-handed like Link)

Well then sir, you can take comfort in the fact that you are a true Zelda fan and not one of the newbs who have only played Skyward sword. On the other hand, this fact may separate you from normal reality as your comment has shown. (Oh well, daydreams are far cooler.)
the_unchosen_one 29th Feb 2012, 2:29 AM edit delete reply
But disconnections from reality are fun. There's windchimes in one aisle at my job that are always ringing, and they always make me feel like something horrible is about to happen
the_unchosen_one 22nd Feb 2012, 11:27 PM edit delete reply
I have no words for you sir. I am loving this page

CASTLEVANIA!! I'm playing throught Symphony of the Night for the 1st time lately it's awesome.

I know enough of Paper Mario to get the shop reference, but not most of the items beside Shroom Shake. Poor Go, wanting to be the best he can for his girlfriend... I can relate to that...
Guest 23rd Feb 2012, 1:41 AM edit delete reply
I am definitely liking the return to your former style morg.

I just feel that _this_ is how Mushroom Go is supposed to look.

Another bang-up issue. I think we all appreciate you stepping back in to draw it yourself, even if it IS only temporary. AANd it's it's not temporary then WOOHOO!
hadron36 23rd Feb 2012, 10:03 AM edit delete reply
Haha yey, Go needed to have a shop called Go's Wares. And remember, it's not an exact science.
A Gray Phantom 23rd Feb 2012, 4:33 PM edit delete reply
Hmm, now it kinda reminds me of Vinnie Veritas' style in CCC: City of Opportunities. The crazy flying ships, character designs, and such make me feel like Vinnie may have been inspired himself by the Mario games.

So, I realize I may have missed the memo, but what's happened to Ob? I really enjoy both styles of art, but I think I like the coop-version better.
Were there monkeys? Did terrifying space monkeys drive Ob away?

What the-? Who set all these lab monkey free?

I think the vacation arc is as much a vacation for Obfuscobble as it is for the Chainless.

I have fallen in love with your art all over again, Morg. And we're finally getting some of Go's backstory! I like Blair's appearance as well. To top off this probably-incoherent babble, I want to inquire as to how long you plan on doing the art yourself, if you may be so kind as to inform us?

Darn, I was hoping Luigi would be involved as far as Go's Old Λrt training went. Other than that the page is beyond awesome.
Maltor Drey 15th Jun 2012, 7:47 PM edit delete reply
Maybe Luigi is Go's uncle?
*Not a serious comment*
Oot 24th Feb 2012, 5:00 PM edit delete reply
One thing I've noticed is that Go is using his "Desert Outfit" still; any chance we'll see the classic look soon?
the_unchosen_one 24th Feb 2012, 6:45 PM edit delete reply
Maybe Go is a des(s)ert Toad...?
Champ_Brett 27th Feb 2012, 4:53 PM edit delete reply
Mmmmmm dessert toad
the_unchosen_one 28th Feb 2012, 2:31 AM edit delete reply

I wonder what it would taste like?

Hey, I just wanted to say that I really enjoy this series. Thanks for putting it on the internet.

Mr. Vareel
Just about everybody who's made a comment really enjoys the series. If we didn't we wouldn't say anything. (Note: this is not criticism, at least not intentional criticism. It's just pointless conversation.)
OneOfTheNamelessRabble 28th Feb 2012, 10:02 PM edit delete reply
Or we may just be camera shy. *Action poses!* As for pointless conversation; Do you like waffles?
Tommo 29th Feb 2012, 12:11 AM edit delete reply
Yeah we like waffles.

Waffles! With toad in the hole!
